Chona has considerable years of experience in financial and internal controls audit, financial and warehouse operations management of distribution, manufacturing, and service organizations, both for local and multinational companies. Chona also has extensive experience in project management that includes change in computer systems as well as warehouse and office moves, from site selection to renovations and physical transfers. She also has experience in performing external audit.

Chona is a certified public accountant. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in commerce, major in accounting and economics at St. Scholastica's College. She completed her master in business administration degree at De La Salle University.
