Tax Manager leads engagements, directs and reviews Tax Associates and Tax Senior Associate. Works under the supervision of partners and assists in project development.

An Advisory Services Manager - IARC practice, works with Advisory partners to develop potential engagements. Minimum competencies include effective communication, problem-solving and project management.

• Oversees multifaceted consulting and management advisory assignments involving internal audit, enterprise risk management, statutory compliance, operational excellence, and digital transformation
• Administrative tasks such as staff and team capacity management, engagement economics monitoring, client billings and collections
• Day-to-day management of client service delivery
• Client relationships
• Training and performance management of Associates and Senior Associates

Audit Senior works under the general direction of an Audit Manager.

• Planning of audit field work
• Assignment of detailed work to Associate and review of his/her working papers
• Reviews financial statements
• Reviews income tax returns
• Suggests improvements to internal controls
• Prepares management letters
• Develops professional relationship with clients and teammates for the completion of audit work

Tax Senior works under the general direction of a Tax Manager and/or Tax Partner.

• Supervises and reviews work of Associates
• Reviews more complex transactions
• Reviews accounting records of clients
• Researches tax issues
• Prepares reports and tax returns
• Recommends tax planning measures
• Handles tax audits and claims for tax refunds
• Handles registration and reportorial requirements of BIR, SEC, BOI, PEZA and other regulatory agencies

Advisory Services Senior works under the general direction of a Manager and/or Partner. Preferred competencies include effective communication, problem-solving and project management.

• Performs and assists in the supervision of multifaceted consulting and management advisory assignments involving risk management, statutory compliance, operational excellence, and digitalization.
• Planning and supervision of engagements such as internal audit, due diligence, review of financial modeling, forecasting and valuation, IT assurance, and process quality reviews.

Audit Associates perform detailed audit procedures under the supervision of a Senior.

• Understand client's business and processes
• Perform internal control testing
• Perform substantive procedures
• Assist in the review of financial statement disclosure accuracy
• Perform basic analytical review procedures

Works under the supervision of a Tax Senior and/or Tax Manager.

• Reviews accounting records of clients

Advisory Services Associates perform procedures to provide a variety of management advisory services under the supervision of a Senior or Manager.
