Cocoy is a co-founder of the firm. He has broad experience in the accounting profession from client servicing to handling several leadership positions both in the firm and in several organizations. He has provided audit and advisory services to different companies engaged in agri-business, utilities, financial institutions, real estate and construction, manufacturing, cooperatives, port services, educational institutions, and others.

Cocoy was actively involved in several business organizations and served as national president of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) from 2008 to 2009. He was also a recipient of various awards as an outstanding leader and professional from various private and government organizations.

Cocoy is a graduate of the University of San Carlos, Cebu City where he obtained his bachelor's degree in commerce, major in accounting. He earned his master in management degree from the Asian Institute of Management.
